If you are looking for a course available at a local college try the Local Search orange box on the right. Type a keyword/s of the subject you are looking for into the box.


For a free "taster" of a course search in the green box on the right. Not all courses have tasters avaiable, to see all the tasters go to the "Taster" tab under the "Courses" link above.


Progression Information


Most qualifications enable you to move onto another full or part time course. If you are currently studying, your college or university will be able to provide advice on what you can do next. If you studied a while ago, here are some pages which aim to provide ideas about the options available to you now.


We have tried to map out different courses which might be suitable for you. For some of these, there is a Progression Agreement which is a formal agreement linking two courses, with particular consideration given to applications from the students on the lower level course. These are marked on the maps.


You might see reference to levels in these pages.


As a rough guide:
Level 3 is equivalent to BTEC National Diplomas, A levels and NVQ 3
Level 4 is equivalent to the first year of an HND or degree and NVQ4
Level 5 is an HND, Foundation Degree or two years of a degree
Level 6 is a full degree
Level 7 is a Masters course
